The Best Guide to Affiliate Success has Just got Better

Every once in a while, something comes along that you just have to stop and take notice.

That happened to me last year when I saw AffiloBlueprint, the flagship product from Affilorama for the first time. I’d never seen anything quite like it, and I said at the time that this probably the best affiliate marketing guide on the web.

Now there is no ‘probably’ about it. Mark Ling has just released the new version of AffiloBlueprint, updated for 2009, and it is even better than the original!

While a lot of people ‘update’ their products from time to time, but change very little and improve even less, Mark has gone through his course with a fine-tooth comb and refined it down into an even more concise and easy to follow manual. Given the quality of the original, this is really quite an achievement.

AffiloBlueprint is a ‘rinse and repeat’ formula for affiliate success, meaning you can use it to create a profitable affiliate site in any niche, and then repeat it in another niche, and another, as many times as you want.

This is the exact formula Mark has personally used to build up his affiliate income to over $1 million dollars a year.

In this course, Mark covers everything from choosing a niche, and researching a market to building a webpage, optimizing it for search engines AND monetization.

This is one of those times you just have to stop and take notice – don’t it pass you by!

Internet Marketing and List Building – Who Needs Squeeze Pages?

When you’re new to Internet marketing, terms are flying past you at the speed of light, and you have no idea what they mean to your Internet marketing business. I’ve been there and so has everyone involved in the Internet marketing world. You need some time to learn what you should know, and then, you’ll still need to keep learning because you’ll never know it all. However…

You can learn some things to get you started pretty quickly. You can have your Internet marketing business bringing in cash while learning, and it’s not that hard to do.

The first thing to understand is that Internet marketing success is based on list building. Without a list of subscribers, you have no one to sell things to. So, you need a list of people who you can build a rapport with, people who will trust you, and who will follow your recommendations. One way to make that happen is by building a squeeze page and setting an HTML code for your autoresponder service in it.

But, if you don’t have a clue about building web pages or HTML, there are ways to be building your list right away without a squeeze page. You may not be ready for that. There are other ways. Let’s discuss one of those today.

Co-registration is the fastest and easiest way to start building a list, and I’m sure you have no idea what I’m talking about. Well, have you ever ordered magazines from a list of magazines? Each one has a checkbox beside it and you choose the magazines you want to buy, right?

Co-registration works that way, too. In a co-registration form, there will be several different offers. Some will be newsletters, some will be special reports, and some might be ebooks or courses, or whatever. So, write for short articles about your niche and advertise them as an email course. At the end of each one, offer a product to the reader that applies to the email. Also be sure that it’s something you’ve tried and want to recommend to other people. Then, write a short ad for this series, and use that for your co-registration ad.

Your short ad will be shown with those from other Internet marketing people, just like you, and the co-registration service advertises the page for you. They also guarantee you a certain number of sign-ups per month. You will pay them according to how many people you want to add to your list each month, but the fee is usually nominal.

You will have to spend money for an autoresponder, too. Though you can buy your own software, keeping the names straight and making sure you’re in compliance with the law is a hassle you don’t need. Right now, AWeber is the best autoresponder for Internet marketing, but there are other services available. Whatever you choose, the service will give you an email address to use for your autoresponder, and you’ll pass that along to your co-registration service.

Autoresponder services handle confirmation of sign-up, which will help you to protect yourself from spam complaints. The laws in the United States are very specific about how we can collect names and verifying registration is a step toward that protection. People often forget that they signed up for things, but when there’s proof of confirmation, your Internet Service account will be well protected. Nobody wants to lose their ISP or to be fined because of a spam complaint.

There are many ways to be list building in the Internet marketing arena, and they don’t all involve using a squeeze page. Being a little creative can sometimes save you time, energy and money. Co-registration is certainly one of those ways. Try one of the reputable services and see how well it works for you.

A Way to The Top of Google?

banner 1 A Way to The Top of Google?

The other day I was talking with an old friend of mine who has a business selling health products through her website. She’s spent a lot of money developing her website and her product is one of the best out there, but she just wasn’t getting enough visitors to her site to make it all worthwhile. She told me that a couple of months ago when she searched for her site on Google it was on page six. Page six! Who ever looks on page six?! The amazing thing is that now she’s on page #1 for her region and things are finally picking up.

It sounded to me like she’d employed some smart alec search engine optimization company to fix up her website, but she said no — she did it all herself! I was astonished to say the least. Let me say this lady is NOT a webmaster extraordinaire or a marketing guru. She’s just a single mom making products on her kitchen table. How did she get so good at search engine optimization?

She told me that someone had put her onto a free program called Traffic Travis. “It’s harder to explain than it is to use!” she joked. Basically it’s a piece of software with all the tools used by these professional search engine optimization companies. It helps you find the right search terms to focus on, then it analyzes your site, analyzes your competitors’ sites, shows you your linking relationships and pulls all the information you need into one screen.

You have to remember, though, that this lady is just a stay-at-home mom who didn’t know her Google PR from her elbow. Fortunately the software came with tutorials that explained important concepts as well as how to use the software, AND some really comprehensive bonus material which revealed all the tricks and theory behind the search engines. “Once you start to read about it you just want to learn more. And then once you’ve learned more, you want to analyze your site down to its bones. And then you want to analyze everyone else. It’s totally addictive! I never knew that stuff was there!”

Armed with this knowledge she was able to tweak her site and within a couple of weeks she was seeing a real increase in traffic. “The site is finally starting to pay for itself! It’s my baby, it’s so nice to see it growing!”

If you’ve got an online business struggling because you’re simply not getting enough visitors, then I encourage you to take my friend’s lead.

Check Out ==> www.traffictravis.com

When you consider how much you’ll learn and how much extra business you could earn, and the fact that the software is FREE… I think it’s at least worth taking a look, don’t you?

Internet Marketing – Why Build a List and How Do I Start?

When people are new to Internet marketing, they often get started in the wrong direction. Sometimes, it’s the promises made of untold wealth and freedom that catches them and they wind up in a dead-end program where only the founders make any real cash. Or, they get caught up in the hours of clicking it takes to advertise on traffic exchanges which for the most part, aren’t very effective. But it’s hard to break away from the excitement and from what you’ve been told. So, if you’re one of those Internet marketing people, it’s time you realized the most important part of any Internet marketing business.

You won’t succeed without a list.

Getting a list is the most important job any Internet marketing person has. Without a list, you’re just another person out there trying to sell something. People are sure you’re out to cheat them, and it’s hard to sell anything at all. People don’t know you, and if they can’t trust you, you won’t make much money.

You can’t ignore list building, and it should have been your first priority when you moved into the Internet marketing world. If you haven’t started list building, you need to do it–today!

The first step is to buy a domain. It should be a name that’s easy to remember and that fits your niche. For example, if you’re selling dog toys, your domain should have at least the word “dog” in it, and preferably “dog toys.” Something like DogToysWorld.com or DoggieToysPlus.com or something that will tell visitors what your Internet marketing business is about.

Then, you need a web hosting account, but don’t cheap out and try to get the least expensive account possible. If you’re serious about your Internet marketing business, it’s going to grow and you’re going to need to add more than one domain to your account. So, get an account that has mySQL database availability. That will be important when it’s time to start a blog or add an affiliate program. Look into the future when choosing your hosting account, and also look for reliability. You need that website to be up 99.9% of the time.

Your next step is to get an autoresponder service. The main concern here is deliverability. Will your email arrive at its destination? With spam filters in effect today, if you don’t have a great autoresponder, your email marketing efforts won’t be very effective.

After all of this is in place, you’ll need to build your first squeeze page. But don’t worry. It’s nothing more than a few bullet points, which provide the benefits of your offer, and and opt-in form, which you get from your autoresponder service. Images of yourself or of something you’re giving away in exchange for getting people’s names and email addresses work well, too. When you’re done with this step, you upload the squeeze page, and you’re ready to build your list.

All Internet marketing success rests on the size and responsiveness of your list. You need to gather a group of people who know and trust you, and who are grateful for the knowledge you can give them about your niche. When they get a recommendation from you, they’re more likely to take you up on the offer. If you follow through with the steps above, you’ll have your list growing in no time. All you have to do is concentrate on sending some traffic to your page. Then, not only your list will begin to grow, but your Internet marketing business along with it.

Internet Marketing – Making Google AdWords Work for Your Business

People often ask me, “I started an AdWords campaign, but have no idea how many clicks I’m going to get, what it’s going to cost, or what’ kind of cost-per-click (CPC) I should be looking for. So, let’s say I have a product that gets me a $25 profit. What should that CPC be?”

Want to know what I say? “Oh, $24.99, but that’s only if you’re getting 100% conversion.” That’s not going to happen in the Internet marketing-verse, right off the bat, though is it? So, what should you be willing to spend? What are you willing to just take a flush down the drain. Doesn’t that make sense?

Maybe it does and maybe it doesn’t because you’re new to Internet Marketing and to AdWords. But we can make this more clear. When it comes to AdWords, you have to decide how much your business can afford to lose every day, and for how many days, until AdWords becomes profitable.

Some of you are probably thinking, I can’t afford to waste a dime. If that’s true, then you shouldn’t be messing around with Google AdWords. You can find many other ways to advertise in the Internet marketing world, and many of them are free. Wait until you have some financial traction to start with Google AdWords, unless you have set a specific budget for that form of traffic.

Yet, let’s figure that you can spend something, though still not able to flush down hundreds of dollars per day. You have to come up with that figure based on your advertising budget for your Internet marketing business. Just visualize yourself taking a bill out of your pocket and stuffing it into the garbage disposal. What would that bill be? Is it $50 a day, or only $5 a day? It’s up to you. Whatever that amount is, set your daily AdWords budget at that level.

Remember, the lower the amount, the fewer the impressions you’ll get and the fewer potential click-throughs. You may not have enough potential to see your ad circulated enough to get clicks, and it may be hard to see how well your ad is doing. So, take that about, let’s just say it’s $20. You can waste $20 a day, but you only waste $5, right? So, that’s an extra $15 a day that you didn’t waste. For the next 7 days, raise your daily limit to $20 for the next 7 days, and see what happens.

You need to find a sweet spot, where your ad is being circulated and you’re getting clicks, and it takes time. You have to keep tweaking to make it profitable. If you don’t have Perry Marshall’s ebook, The Definitive Guide to AdWords, I’d encourage you to get it, and apply what you learn, too.

This may seem like a non-definitive answer, but it’s just the truth. Only spend what your Internet marketing business can afford and not a penny more. Once your campaign is working, you’re thrilled, and it could happen quickly, though it usually takes a while. It could take a year. That’s just the deal. It all depends on how quickly you’re willing to make changes and move on, and you can never get depressed or feeling negative about things. You have to move on.

That’s the key to success. You can never give up on something, and at the same time, you can’t afford to overextend your Internet Marketing business to the point where it goes under or you’re trying to pay off credit card debt because you didn’t understand the system. Use some conservative actions, and plan your AdWords campaigns with common sense.
